Frames, Screens and Casings
Pendle Doors can manufacture external casings, internal screens and external entrance frames tailor made to your exact requirements. We would generally produce the frames from either good quality redwood or Majau/Meranti purpose made to the exact requirements; although we can also offer a variety of different timber species to match in with your project
Internal casings and Linings
Internal linings and casings can be manufactured to your exact requirements, your Pendle Doors project manager would schedule the linings to be delivered to site in ‘plot lots’ or floor lots individually marked up with the door numbers for ease on site. We would usual supply these assembled but where room is tight we can send these unassembled; although still marked with the door numbers.

FD30 fire rated frames would generally be manufactured from good quality redwood and would be grooved and supplied with 15x4 intumescent smoke seal, either white or brown. Other timber species are available
FD60 fire rated frames have to be manufactured from hardwood which has a higher density than redwood, the frames would be mortice and tenon construction and would grooved and supplied with 20x4 intumescent smoke seal strips, either white or brown. Other hardwood species are available.
