Pendle Doors originated from a business formally know as Barker May Limited, which was formed in Burnley in the 1950’s. The company which is now know as Pendle Doors Limited was formed in 1998 and has enjoyed enormous growth and success through the hard work and dedication of our entire workforce and have built a reputation based on reliability and service.
We are a young dynamic company which can react rapidly to accommodate new products, concepts and legislation to comply with the ever changing requirements of building regulations. When building regulation Part L (Thermal Performance) came into effect Pendle Doors were one of the first companies to offer a fully compliant door to compliment our already vast product range.
Pendle Doors manufacture bespoke panelled doors both for internal and external use, together with door frames, entrance frames, and screens in most commercially available timber species to suit their purpose. We rework Plywood faced solid timber core door blanks, reducing in size and re-lipping. Using CNC technology, we cut vision panel apertures into bespoke/standard ply faced doors together with all variances of veneered internal doors. We factory glaze with fire resistant glass where required, set within intumescent products to fire regulations, also offering glazing for non fire rated situations. We only use solid timber matching beading systems when glazing veneered doors. Our company supplies a wide range of standard ‘off the shelf’ doors along with non standard purpose made doors, including fully book matched veneered pairs of doors, doors with matching over panels and doors with inlayed veneers. Registered Secured by Design Doorset Manufacturer, fully compliant with PAS23 and PAS24 regulations.
We offer added value pre-hung doorsets to customer specification, like X-ray specification or Acoustic rating and fire rated door sets including FD30, FD60, FD90 and FD120 sets, together with other ancillary items including architraves, intumescent strips, and thresholds to Part M.
